Joseph Ahearn

Joe Ahearn is Senior Vice President, Head of Fixed Income of TS. He is one of the company’s co-founders and initially joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to founding TS, Joe held a variety of positions at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and spent over 14 years with the firm, including multiple senior positions. As director at CSFB, Joe was responsible for front office e-commerce trading and internet-based application development. As Chief Technology Officer of CSFB’s PrimeWorld family of e-commerce financial products, built and managed electronic trading systems for all major financial markets. He was responsible for product development, design, software development, architecture design, technical infrastructure and project management. In addition, he was instrumental in building and implementing the exchange links with European electronic exchanges. In 1987, Joe joined CSFB’s equity technology group in Tokyo where he built program-trading applications, electronic exchange connectivity to all major markets and launched the first straight-through processing engine, from trader to clearing agent, in the Japanese market.
