Dear {{lead.Full Name:default=Derivative Insights & Innovations Subscriber}},

It has been an exciting and rewarding year for Numerix. Our 2017 results reflect the benefits of the deeper relationships we have built worldwide, as well as the investments we have made in our products and services. So as the year closes, we wish to say Thank You—to our clients, partners and peers—for placing your trust in us throughout the year.

NEXT 2017
Speaking of connectivity, one of our highlights of 2017 was hosting nearly 130 participants at our third annual NEXT 2017 Global User Conference held at the Doral Arrowwood Resort in Rye Brook, NY from October 24–25.

With two days of over 20 business and technical sessions, a lot was covered. We opened the conference by introducing the technology advances taking place at Numerix as well as our product roadmaps. Participants were then the beneficiaries of a fascinating keynote presentation on the transformative power of artificial intelligence and machine learning and what they mean for the financial services industry. The event also featured in-depth discussions about a wide variety of factors shaping the capital markets space, such as trends in fixed income market making, risk management, margining and MVA, XVA management, cloud adoption, and FRTB, among others. A number of technical workshop sessions, such as a Python deep dive, hosted by both Numerix and industry experts, were an additional highlight of this year's NEXT.

Participants were likewise offered many opportunities to network and share ideas with their peers.

In this issue of Derivative Insights & Innovations, we share some of the featured themes and topics that marked the event. You can also visit our Customer Support Portal to access some of the presentations from Numerix speakers.

Many attendees commented on the caliber of topics, speakers and peer-to-peer conversations that made this year’s conference such a notable experience. If you were not able to join us this year, we certainly hope to see you at NEXT 2018!

Sincerely,

Steven R. O’Hanlon
